[图]基于Ubuntu的Linux Mint 20.1 "Ulyssa" Beta发布

今年 10 月，Linux mint 20.1 宣布被命名为“Ulyssa”，并计划在今年圣诞节期间发布。不过在 Ulyssa 开发进程中也出现了一些争议，Linux mint 的开发者将资源浪费在名为“Hypnotix”的 IPTV 播放器上。今天，基于 ubuntu 的 Linux Mint 20.1 "Ulyssa "BETA 终于开放下载，并提供了Cinnamon、MATE 和 Xfce 三种不同风味的桌面版本。

Linux Mint 20.1 "Ulyssa "BETA 基于 ubuntu 20.04 LTS 系统，内置 Linux Kernel 5.4 内核。该系统将会持续支持到 2025 年，并带有全新的统一文件系统布局。桌面环境方面，Xfce为4.14版本，MATE为1.24版本，Cinnamon为4.6版本。而上文提及的 Hypnotix IPTV 播放器将会默认安装。

Linux Mint 20.1 "Ulyssa "BETA 比较值得关注的地方在于添加了新的网络应用管理器，它可以将任何网站变成一个 "应用"，你可以将其固定在面板上，以便快速访问。开发者解释说：“当Web App运行时，它的行为就像一个桌面应用程序。它有自己的窗口和自己的图标”。
